Los tiempos siempre son convulsos, la diferencia es quién los crea y a quienes se dirigen en cada época. La colectividad, la comunidad, ha roto barreras época tras época, ha derrotado enemigos comunes. El individualismo rompe barreras, pero las del propio ser. La supremacía del individuo neoliberal y anarcocapitalista grita, lucha, genera ideales, es rebelde, antisistema, pero ¿respecto a qué? ¿contra quién? ¿contra sí mismo? ¿contra el futuro? ¿contra un no lugar? Bajo el amparo de estas y otras preguntas, El Ocaso de lo Común, de Jorge Marredo, experimenta de manera sonora las derivas de nuestra época atestada de gritos silenciosos, composiciones fluorescentes y misturas auditivas clásico-contemporáneas.

Times are always turbulent; the difference lies in who creates them and whom they target in each era. Collectivity, community, has broken barriers time and time again, defeating common enemies. Individualism breaks barriers, but those of the self. The supremacy of the neoliberal and anarcho-capitalist individual screams, fights, generates ideals, rebels, and is anti-systemic, but regarding what? Against whom? Against itself? Against the future? Against a non-place? Under the shelter of these and other questions, "El Ocaso de lo Común" (The Twilight of the Common) by Jorge Marredo explores, in a sonorous manner, the drifts of our era filled with silent screams, fluorescent compositions, and classic-contemporary auditory mixtures.
